Congrats my fellow Sept. We may not have a logo or fancy name, but damnit, if we ain't quit all the same.
I love seeing the milestones dip free. Especially when it relates to the kids, and they can see a dip free role model, and somebody who made a difficult but positive change in their life.
Congrats. You had a dream that scared you, so you did what bad ass quitters do, you got right on here and posted on your intro. That is how Sept rolls.
Proud to be quit with you.

I also like hunting, hiking, and anything else exciting or outdoors. I like all sports and recently got into volleyball.

Hate to answer a question with a question, but did you post roll today? If so, you have nothing to worry about. Only a worthless shitbag would give his word, then not keep it. You don't sound like a worthless shitbag to me.

So, that's not an issue...for today at least. Don't worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow isn't here yet. All you have to do now is do whatever the fuck you have to to stay clean today. Then wake up and post roll again. Who knows, the craving might be gone tomorrow, right?

As far as I can see, you've got this, brother! You're in the exact right spot. You're not caving today. PM me if you have to. But YOU'RE DOING IT EXACTLY RIGHT!!! Congrats on three weeks. Don't be a spineless puss and throw away three weeks of progress. There are plently of folks who would kill to be three weeks in. Tell me, before you found this site, did you really believe you could go three weeks without dip? I didn't. Others probably didn't either. But I knew I could make it one damn day...and that is all there is to it. So, grit your teeth, remember that you gave your word, and live free.

Those cravings will get less intense the longer you are quit. The more that your able to tell the nic bitch to kiss your ass the less cravings you will have. When she comes knocking and telling you that its ok to just have one, throw it right back at her and let her know that you will not fail and that you will stay quit. If you need a number or anything at all just pm me.

Day 4 has been hard lots of stress at work had Kodak in my lips since 1984 but plan to stop for my kids glad I found this group
Every day is gonna be hard for a while. That time period is not complex. The enemy is right in front of you, in plain sight. Muscle through that, and then the days begin to get easier. You'll enjoy a few moments of relief. THAT is when the shit gets real. That is when you need support from others here. Why? Because 2 or 3 days of smooth quitting will cause you to let your guard down, and the enemy will be lurking in the gas station behind a rack of porno mags or something. Those are the moments that require us to be prepared.

Glad to see you here, but you only get out of this site as much as you put in. Drop your thoughts so folks can see where you're coming from. Get invested, make some friends. I'm 38 with 3 young kids, and chewed/dipped for 20 years. You can do this. Let some of us help. Every quitter here will stop to assist you.

As for your "lots of stress at work" comment; remember this:
1 problem + nicotine = 2 problems.
I'd give credit for that quote, but I don't remember who it came from.
Listen to this guy ^^^^^^^ there is 1000 days of quit under his belt. But he is right, you have never had an adult moment without her in your face. Everything is an adjustment. But she did not make anything better, thats a fact!

We don't "stop" here. We quit.

Why do you want to quit? Quitting for your kids is great and all bit will only get you so far.

You need to quit for you and you only.

Tell us a little more about you and why you have had enough and came here to quit.

Welcome. We are here for you.
This site can help you kick your nicotine habit to the curb. We don't use words like try or hope as they are just another excuse for our addictive brains to tell us another lie. There are no short cuts, but here are some links that will help you navigate this site.

This a NO NICOTINE site. End of discussion. Why this Site Works

Biggest thing to do is get acquainted with this site.

Highly recommend you go here: Welcome Center, Getting Acclimated and What to Expect

Your quit decision MUST be 100% your decision. Anything short of that sets you up for failure by allowing your addict brain to blame a given situation as reason for you to go back to the can
So far so good make sure try to stay in for lunch and not keep cash in my pockets so don't stray headaches have gone away
42 yrs old married with crazy 2.5 triplets 2 girls and a boy and a 5 year old that are always in constant motion. Started dipping when I was around 12 legion baseball then football was always around and just kept at till a week ago thanks for encouragement to stay strong

Ok man day four is great. This site is awesome so be very glad you found it bro. This is simple, although not easy, go read the welcome center and all that you can on this site. Learn how to post roll. Roll is important. It is our promise to not use nicotine in any form for the entire day. Post roll every damn day and then keep your word! We only take it one day at a time, and at times hour by hour. You can do this man. Plug into this site and get addicted to it. I will quit with you every day.
