This is a classic case of someone very nearly ready, but not quite, to quit. We all need to blow up his inbox and urge him to reconsider. Think of how it would have been if someone had grabbed ahold of us at 24-25 years old and talked some sense into us....

I just sent him an email asking him to think really long and hard about how bad he wants to be quit....

Labor Day update -- so I got a response to my email. He claims he's quit, he will continue to be quit, but he doesn't need the KTC method to stay that way. I'm of the opinion there likely ARE former users out there with the cajones to quit solo and don't require the accountability KTC brings. Assuming he's one of them, I say all the best. As long as he's quit....

See you online but no posting roll ? Have you given up? Still Quit its not too late to saty committed to Nov if you are still quit.

ABQ - not just when it is easy -FYI - its never easy, but it is easier if you come on here each and everyday and make that promise.

Deersoldier, where did you go? Are you still quit? No response to daily text yesterday and you did not post roll. Get back on roll and stay strong, stay quit

Partner, this CAN (no pun intended) be done. I am the biggest nic addict that I've ever encountered. Quit over a month ago after 31 years of EXTREME dipping. If I can go through day three, ANYONE can!
Day 3 sucks, I know and I'll never forget this. Embrace this. These first few days must be embraced. Acknowledge what this horrid plant and drug has done to you, your family, your fellow man. Spit in its face. Do it.
The day you forget day 3 during your quit is the day nicotine will reclaim you. Day 3 is your STRENGTH long term. Own the suck, my friend. I am with you. Quit...for today.

Deersoldier, what everyone above ^ here said. PM anyone in the group and exchange phone numbers. Then use the numbers for support whenever you need it. You can also exchange day counts daily with those whose numbers you have. I exchange these texts daily with 17 peolpe right now, about half from Nov and Half vets from the rest of the forum. I'll shoot you a PM with my digits

Learn how to post roll here.

Join the November quit group here, and make your promise to not use nicotine by posting roll.

That's your ticket to an overwhelming source of support and knowledge about quitting. The price of admission is posting roll every day.
