Title: I AM BACK TO QUIT
Post by: Virginia_Jim on June 29, 2020, 12:25:31 AM
I quit the first time a long time ago, actually around the time this website started and it was an incredible help to me. I stayed quit for a very long time, until very embarrassingly I slipped and went right back to it.  Not proud to be back here starting again from square one, but I put myself here.

You didn’t quit @Virginia_Jim (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17939) , you completed a stoppage. I posted the 3 questions for you to answer in your new group. Please also answer them in your old group. The answers you give should help you moving forward so please give them some thought. Reach out if I can help.

Welcome back, Jim.  You found out the hard way that as an addict you can never have "just one" ever again or you will be back to full blown usage.  We are all at the point of no return:  we are addicted to nicotine - which means if we want to remain free - we can't put that poison into our bodies ever again.  Early on, that is a scary thought - which is why we quit one day at a time here.  Since you've been down this road before, you know the drill:  it will suck out loud until it doesn't anymore.  But you can do this.  Dig deep, answer the three questions that Keith posted in October 2020 - and let's get this quit going!  PM me if you need digits for accountability.

@Virginia Jim (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=9669) you should be all set! I'll send you a PM with my digits in case you have any trouble integrating back to the original account.
