...am dedicating my life to helping the next guy through this.

KTC is the perfect place to do that. What we do here is free so we need people who are willing to help however they can. Here you can support other quitters, help maintain the site, or even encourage potential quitters who are on the fence to get in here, start posting roll call, and ultimately save their lives.  What are you waiting for?

"Yeah im always one day away from caving its right there in front of me, your right"

...and yet you have not joined your quit group and posted your promise to remain nicotine free.  Hmmm??

Chris has a really good point here @Gemni888; what are you waiting for?  Go post roll and join us; you won't regret it.

Oh yes your journey has just started. There have been multiple people who caved after a 100 days. When you become complacent is when nicotine strikes the hardest. Come join our November group. And we will make sure that one day away from caving never happens.

Great energy in your first post.

I suggest that you take your quit-passion over to the November quit group. There you can help your fellow November quitters remain excited about the quit!

Your mouth pain will fade, and soon you may forget about the costs of chew addition. You need to learn to have a burning hatred for chew.

As Chris, mentioned the cost of joining the forum is posting your daily promise to the November 2019 Quit Group each day. You may think you're cured, but if you become complacent chew will come for you again. The best way to stay engaged with your quit is to form bonds with veterans and your fellow quitters.

Look forward to seeing you post.

My quit began on August 13th 2019, I come to you after 17 years off dipping 2 cans of grizzly wintergreen a day. The decision to quit came with my mouth really hurting, and it just costing so much money. The quit was pure hell I never felt worse in my life but I watched a lot of support videos on youtube it really did help to watch other guys who quit tell there stories. As I was going through my 2 weeks of misery quitting I thought to myself I really gotta step up and help the next guy behind me who has to go through this so here I am. Im now 30 days dip free, you can do this as well. If you guys need any help or have any questions Im here to help and we can fight it together. Just be ready to go through a lot when you quit at first but this can be done, we are survivors and getting mouth cancer isnt in are future. You can do this and Im here ask me anything you need ive been through this hell on earth the last month and am dedicating my life to helping the next guy through this.

Hi Gemni888,

Welcome to KTC.  That is awesome that you have gone 30 days on your own.  From the sound of what you wrote, though, it sounds as if you think you are cured after 30 days.  We are addicts.  We will always be addicts.  We are one bad decision away from caving at all times.

Are you going to join the November 2019 Quit Group and start posting your daily promise to remain nicotine free?  That is the cost of admission to this forum.  We quit One Day at a Time (ODAAT), We Wake Up, Piss, and Post (WUPP) our promise Every Damn Day (EDD).  We really like acronyms.

If you are prepared to jump in, drink the KTC Kool Aid and post your daily promise, then we would be happy to have you here and would love to have you share in the brotherhood and accountability this site offers.  If that is not what you thought you signed up for, then you are probably in the wrong place.  This is a place for quitters of nicotine.

What are your intentions?
If you want my digits, just ask and they will be yours, but I expect yours in return.

Accountability is a statement of personal promise, both to yourself and to the people around you, to deliver specific defined results.
