Good morning Marvin. If you have not dumped your last tin, you should do that now. Head over to the January 2008 quit group and post roll.

Welcome.

Hello forum members,

I am new here.... I wanted to say Hi to all and start my journey...

And this lovely song too.... :D

"We're non-smokers, hear us roar..."
A Smoking Cessation Forum member, LadyZolt, created the lyrics below sung to the tune of Helen Reddy's song, I Am Woman. Her words describe the realities of smoking and the sentiments ring true.

We're non-smokers, hear us roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And we know too much to go back and pretend
'Cause we know the facts at last
Cigarettes can kill ya fast
No one's ever gonna lie to us again.

Yes, we are wise, but it's wisdom born in pain.
Yes, we finally quit, and look how much we've gained
If we have to, we can do anything.
We are strong
We are invincible
We have Freedom.

All those smokers, hear them cough
No, they just can't knock it off
'Cause the nicotine demon has them trained
Though you can tell them it's not wise
They believe Tobacco's lies
They're all really only living life in chains.

Yes, we are wise, but it's wisdom born in pain.
Yes, we finally quit, and look how much we've gained
If we have to, we can do anything.
We are strong
We are invincible
We have Freedom.

All those smokers choke and hack
Having strokes and heart attacks
The addiction to tobacco is so strong
But if they finally break it
They would be so glad to make it
And they could finally join us in our song.

Yes, we are wise, but it's wisdom born in pain.
Yes, we finally quit, and look how much we've gained
If we have to, we can do anything.
We are strong
We are invincible
We have Freedom.
