Last time I've posted here was around 2013, I gave this nic bitch 8 more years of my life. How I wish I would have gotten this thing back then, but here I am again. It's been an hour without the nic bitch and I'm already feeling the fog, mood went to shit but it's time. I was planning on posting and starting my nig free journey last Monday, but wouldn't you know it, one more can, one more can, one more can turned into another week. Had so much I wanted to unload in here but fog came on quickly, fuck this nic bitch, I want my life back.
@Onedollar99cents I guess we will see you back in another 8 years for another self-loathing post whining about how you wish you were quit.

Well, those of us here make it happen. We make a promise and keep our word. There is no magic here. Just a simple formula to freedom for those willing and able to embrace the process.
There are two types of people here.  The ones that get it done and the ones that don’t.  Proudly, today, I got it done.  I’m gonna give it hell again when tmrw gets here.
I am continually surprised by the enormity of wishy-washy and fear and laziness and weakness and apathy and ignorance and excuses and blah blah blah…

I’ve seen pretty much all of it in 8+ years here and I shouldn’t be surprised but… I am.

This intro is just so freaking textbook, boys and girls. All bark and no bite… zero substance… no balls… no drive… no effort put forth and zero fucks given.

Don’t be this guy.
I mean, really, don’t be this guy.
Take a moment and make an extreme effort to step outside yourself and take a good hard look at you in this moment and as best as you can, take a look at future you. When your soul is tied to the little can and your schedule is run by the little can and your money is wasted so the little can’s claws can sink in deeper and your thoughts are steered by the need for the little can and the joy of every activity you do is tainted by the little can and you lie for the little can so you can keep the little can your secret and your “love” for the little can clouds the reality of just how deep a hell the little can is plunging you into…

Fuck. That.
THAT is not life.
THAT is not freedom.

It’s time to KILL the little can.
Freedom is waiting.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.

How bad is an addicts life? When you stand around at a friends funeral using tobacco when it was tobacco that killed your friend. I was one of them and made my change 428 days ago. Some people just will never change.

Hell No but they are all great excuses to choose failure, to choose to lose, to choose slavery over freedom. I dont like excuses, I like quitting. How about y'all?

@Onedollar99cents ,
Now that this is altogether, make sure that you go back and read through your entire intro. See the support that you have thrown away twice. See the clues that you were given. Recognize that you can't do the same things you did back then. If you want to be quit, just do it. Don't try, just don't put that shit back in your mouth. There is really no explanation in here about your last cave and I haven't seen your current response to your plan this time. If you can man up, make a promise , and keep your word for 24 hours, then you will get a ton of support here. If you keep failing, you must realize that your failures are your own personal choice. Do you really want to choose to fail? I think it sounds like you want to quit but sometimes life is just too hard. Yes it is, life happens. Life will shit on you. Quitters stay quit no matter what, because they want to be quit and they gave their promise
Are you a quitter?
Or are you a dreamer?
Only you know the answer, but I'm the days and months and years ahead, all here will be able to see the true you. What do you want us to see? I want to see a quitter renewed. Make it happen!

@Onedollar99cents glad you are back but we need to clarify a few things. Today is day 1 as KTC doesn't have a day 0. Second, you need to answer the 3 questions in your new group as well as your old group:
1. what happened
2. why did it happen
3. what are you going to do differently this time?

Also, every quitter is only allowed 1 introduction so please don't create another one.

Suggest you focus on quitting one day at a time and make connections with fellow quitters. We are never cured and will always be an addict. Suggest you treat your addiction a little more serious this time.

Thank you guys for the encouraging words, i'm sticking a knife in this nic bitch for good. Just been lurking around KTC and reading some things. I'm going to Maui next week with my wife and the last thing I want to do is take breaks to sip down some poison out of a can, or even think about it. I realize that i screwed up my quit at the wrong time, but in a way it was a good lesson learned - don't repeat your mistakes, and learn from other peoples mistakes. Having a few foggy moments here and there, and the sleeping pattern has been fucked up but that has gone on for quite sometime so not sure what is causing it. Once again thank you all for the support, and i'm sticking to my Sky Diver group even though i've moved my HOF date i feel attached to that group of badasses, and can't wait to read some of those HOF speeches.

You were once a member of the Sky Divers. You may have shifted to another group but I think it's safe to speak for the rest of the group here when I say, You are a Sky Diver for life (as long as you are posting roll). That doesn't mean that you post roll with us anymore, but I would be disappointed if you don't post support with us on a regular basis if not every day.
