on my first day.  just wanted to say hey to everyone quitting dip.
congrats Macdaddyfour.  I like your intro...it feels like I really got to know ya.

Yes, that last part is sarcasm.  But really...congrats.   Best decision you've made recently.  Even if you don't yet know it.

Remember that Quit is not a passive thing...you gotta get after it.  Study.  Read.  Rant.  Rage.  Be too hard on some new quitter.  Be too soft on some quitter.  Be pissed.  Be happy.  Whatever.  Just don't assume that you've made this decision and the rest will just work out.

WORK. AT. THIS.

Congrats brother.  You need someone to hold you accountable, just ask.

on my first day.  just wanted to say hey to everyone quitting dip.

Welcome to KTC Macdaddy4!  I see you haven't posted roll yet - go on over to October 2019 which would be your quit group.  HERE   The reason it is October 2019 is because everyone that posts there will reach 100 days quit in October - so you all will be roughly at the same stage of quit.  When you get there, post your nic, your day quit and your promise not to use nicotine products for the day.  Just one day.  Then get up and make that same promise again tomorrow, first thing.  And so on, daily.

Use this Introduction thread to tell us a bit about yourself, jot down thoughts on your journey, your wins, your struggles, your milestones.  Reach out to people here - especially your fellow October brothers and sisters - and start making relationships.  You will need to lean on them in the tough times.  Read all you can on this site in the "Facts and Figures" section, the introduction posts, hall of fame speeches, Words of Wisdom and other areas.  Knowledge is an important tool in your quit.  Understand your enemy - and it will be easier to defeat it!

I know it may seem a really tough task right now - but YOU CAN DO THIS.  If after 30+ years of tobacco use, I can quit, I promise you that you can too!!!

FLLipOut, Day 1,097 and proud to be quit with you today.

Just one and you will be back to where you started, and where you started was desperately wishing you were where you are now.
