* 100 Days

Well I guess I've finally "made" it. When I started this journey 100 days ago, I didn't think I'd be where I was today. I found KTC one night and I was in a state of constant thinking. Questions flowed through my mind such as: "Should I quit?", "Is it time to quit?", "Do I really need to?" and "Do I want to quit?". Out of those four questions I remember asking myself, the last one was the one that pulled the trigger.

I started chewing when I was 16 and continued until August 15, 2014. I had chewed for about 4.5 years and I was sick of it. I found this site and read through articles and the forums and I decided to pull the trigger. I didn't know what to expect on Day 1 and I'll admit it, I was nervous about the upcoming days. If it wasn't for my November quit group and the folks on KTC, I'm sure I would have given in to the craves at some point. You guys are the reason I have gotten this far and will continue to go One Day At A Time.

100 Days seems like a huge accomplishment when you're on the way. Once I got here, I felt normal, I wasn't "cured", and I didn't have a big trophy waiting for me. However, I felt like I reached another milestone and now I need to work towards the next one.

Again, thanks to the November Stone Cold Quitters and the folks on the KTC Quit Chat! You have made this an experience worth going through and the fight to keep going worth it.
