Ok fellow quitters,it is now 100 days for me and I feel it is time to tell you how I feel.
I feel great about quitting and even better about this site.
You see my friends, without this site and your support it would have been pure hell on me to quit.
The first day I went into the chat room however was not very welcoming.
Seems it is customary to ride people pretty hard here, and that can take some getting used to.
Well not one to be intimidated i stuck it out.
However I came to understand this was a form of tough love so to speak.
I now understand why we do this.
We cannot afford to waste our time or yours (the quitter) on someone who will not take this seriously.
This is very serious crap people.
We do not have time to horse around.
This is life and death we are talking about here.
If it were not for my family on here and my real family at home beating this addiction would not be easy.
Speaking of easy beating an addiction is never easy, but with the right support system it can be done.
Here is my point.
We are all addicts here.
Support is paramount to our survival and beating this thing (the nic bitch) into submission.
We must prevail at all cost!
Defeat is not an option.
We must forever be vigilant.
Dipping is like alcoholism, you take one drink and it starts all over again.
You take one dip of tobacco and it starts all over again.
We cannot afford to lose anyone in this battle.
Stay quit my brothers and sisters.
It's the only way to be.
