Title: MY quit
Post by: ahl55223 on January 08, 2020, 06:51:42 PM
Hi everyone,

My name is Aaron. I am not an entirely new quitter -- but have been using the site for quite some time I cant be more thankful for what this site has provided me during my quit. Now I feel like it was time for me to get on the Forum. Today is day 150 for me. Very proud of my journey, but it has not been without its struggles. Most of the symptoms have moved on, except for the anxiety. Additionally, I am finally manning up and going to visit the dentist. I have the appointment scheduled for this coming Tuesday. I am terrified to go, but I know it needs to happen.

Each day has brought its new challenge and I am mad at myself for allowing this drug into my life. But at the same time, I couldn't be happier that I no longer use it.

Here is to the next 150 days and the 150 day after that.

Aaron

Welcome Aaron.

Your next stop should be your HOF quit group --Nov 2019 and post your daily promise not to use nicotine today.

After that, make a short introduction there too. Those people have been fighting in the trenches since day 1 and will want to know that you are the real deal.

How to post>>>>> https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=197.0 (except now you just put your name at the end of the list, not right after the last 'new quitter').

Welcome Aaron!  150 days solo is pretty amazing.  But you don't have to go it alone anymore.  Like Zeus said, go post at Nov19 and make your promise and keep it.  Come back tomorrow and do it again.

You would not be the first quitter to join a quit month late.  I have a brother from Oct16 who came in >100 days and there have been many others latecomers.

You have a lot of challenges ahead, it will be good to go through it with the support of others.

@ahl55223 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=16525)  These quitters are spot on. Go to November and post roll. There’s strength in numbers. I also understand about the dentist. I went through the same thing a while back. I am glad the site is helpful but why not reap the full benefit that KTC has to offer? POst roll and lets do this together.
