@comalley I hope you go through this introduction from one of your previous attempts and read what some of these bad ass quitters had to say. Traumagnet had some gems I hope you take to heart. Unforunately, he has since passed away but his words ring true now more than ever.
Holy hell, dude.

WTAF?

You signed up in April of 2013.
You would have been in my Junk Free July group had you any balls.
I hit 2,754 days and you’re on your, what, 2nd... 3rd attempt here?
Day 2 or 3?
Again?

How does that feel?
Are you tired of the weight of that constant failure yet?

Yeah, I’m being a tad hardcore but you obviously need a little of that to rub off. In my book you’re a waste of time and don’t belong here buuuut... here you are.

Be better. Do better.
Both caves that you have noted in this intro are blamed on alcohol by you.
Alcohol didn't buy a can
Alcohol didn't pack a can
Alcohol didn't open a can
Alcohol didn't grab a huge pinch of cat turds
Alcohol didn't put that shit in your mouth

You did all these things
You chose to do all these things
You chose to not be Quit
You chose to let life make you a slave again

Life happens: fired from the job, divorce, death in the family, loss of a child, dog dies, etc. Being quit means that none of those events are an excuse to become a slave again.

Being Quit is not just for when things are easy.
Nicotine will try to trick you into thinking it helps with any number of trials or tribulations. When you can admit that you are an addict and that nicotine helps with nothing, maybe then you can find the testicular fortitude to Be Quit.
Make it so number 2
Greetings from a quit brother from April 2013 - who is posting 2,868 today.

I've had 2,868 days of freedom under my belt, and lots of winners in my circle.

You should be in my group, bro... what a waste.

Deserved. Appreciate the fuel.

@comalley Since each quitter is allowed only one introduction, I found your old one and merged the one you created yesterday.

Just think, you could have been 6+ YEARS quit by now.

Please go into February 2021 where I posted the 3 questions for you to answer. Anything before this was a mere stoppage. Are you resolved to make this time your first and final QUIT? What are you going to do to make that happen??

Really liked this group before and made the 100 day then caved after a night of alcohol. I’m quitting that too and over 3 weeks in on that. Quit for just over a day and I sure don’t miss day 1 of a nicotine quit. Thank you guys for the opportunity to end this once and for all.
Good for you man. We’re all in this together
Omg.

Seriously?
You OBVIOUSLY learned nothing in the 100 days you “tried” KTC on. You absolutely do NOT deserve a pat on the ass for coming back with that weak garbage.

You have some epic explaining to do to your old group AND your new one... assuming you sac up and own your shit this time. Your excuse is lame. Dig deep and figure out why you failed miserably the last time. A helpful hint?... Get involved and STAY involved. This is not a try and try again method... one and done.

Own it.
Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it? It’s not ten.
