A plant in a can is controlling your life and you are letting it. An army man. A bad ass cop. Controlled by a chopped up plant.

I'm not even close to the bad ass you are. Not even close. And I thank you for your service. But don't let some dude like me show you up on something so important.

Today can be day 1 for you. Or you can do this for another 10 years. This is hard to believe right now,but you don't need nicotine. Walk down the street and look - there are lots of people surviving, cancer free, without nicotine. The choice is yours.

Don't fuck this up. Join us

So I have been dipping for 8 years, Copenhagen Long Cut. I stated in 2006 during my first rotation to Iraq. After my first firefight I was a little shaky and my team leader asked if I was ok, I said yeah I'm good. Then asked if I wanted a dip, I said fuck yes. Ever since been going through a can a day. I separated from the Army in February of 2013, and am now a Police Officer. As I type this I have a dip in my front lip, getting anxious just thinking about quiting. But I feel like my life literally revolves around dipping. Eat, dip, try to stay awake, put a dip in. I honestly don't know if I would have been able to stay focused during 2 rotations to iraq and 2 to A-Stan. That's how I feel now about police work, how can I focus on my job without it.

What happened to you? You asked for help and most likely got it. Man up bitch! Quit or don't, there is no sense in pussing around about it. Either you want to be healthy or have this nic bitch control you!

You need to hate dip with every fiber of your being. You do not want a dip, you do not need a dip!

Got it?

Good!

Go post.

Why haven't you posted roll yet? I told you how to do it. That is where you make a promise to us and yourself that you will not use tobacco that day. Go Post! 'Remshot'

You got this, Shawn! Like many have said...ONE DAY AT A TIME!! I'm on Day 19, and I NEVER thought I'd get this far. On day 3, there was no way I thought I'd make it to day 4, 5, 6, etc, but I did. It gets easier, I promise. Just think about getting through today.

By far the hardest thing I've ever done, those that have quit, well done. I'd rather walk 18 miles with a 60 pound ruck...I would do that for a dip right now..Fuck!
Take it 24 hours at a time. No Day but Today. Also I remember passing out during a hump in School of Infantry. Doc was pissed he had to take the dip out of my mouth. Should have listened then.
No day but today.

24 years of dipping = 8,765 days of slavery to the nic-bitch (approximately)
