Title: Hi I'm Jesse J and I'm on Day 5
Post by: JesseJ on May 22, 2020, 04:52:20 PM
Thanks for this group and nice to meet everybody! I stopped for good Monday so today is the fifth day. Brain fog and some increased anxiety and irritability, but I'm just so done with dipping. I started like for real where it became a daily habit around 1999-2000 -- so this has been awhile coming for me. Peace and hope everyone is healthy and safe out there!

(sorry if this isn't the right spot to say hello, I'm still checking out the forum and figuring out my way around)

Hi @JesseJ (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17669). Congrats on getting to 5 days! This is a great spot to say hello and some people also use their intro to write in like a journal. It can be valuable to look back on later.
Go here first thing every morning https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16445.0 and post your promise to not use nicotine in any form for the day. Take it ODAAT- one day at a time.

Welcome @JesseJ (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17669). Congrats on 5 days. Like @ankape (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15914) said, follow that link to post your daily roll post. Quitting with this site has a very good success rate. I am on day 223 and couldn’t have done it without posting my daily promise to remain quit. Every day, like many others, I wake up, and instead of putting a dip in, I post a promise to my quit brothers that I will remain quit for the day. Each day, we do the same. We call this WUPP. Wake up, piss, then post. We take it in day at a time ODAAT, and we remain quit. Hope to see you in the August group, which is where you will eventually celebrate 100 days nicotine free.

I'm assuming those 5 days of freedom were tossed out the window by now, seeing that you only posted once, which was your intro. Come back while the desire to quit is still fresh.
