Hey all,
Long time lurker, been thinking about quitting for a while. I slowly cut back for the last 2 weeks. At 1:10 this morning (10/8/2013) I took out my last chew, and have been battling all day.
I know its going to be hard, But I cant wait for the day where I can say I have the beat!
I look forward to getting to know some of you and thanks for having me.
will.

Hey Will. Welcome to KTC. First and foremost, you will need to post Roll. Roll is your daily promise to yourself and all of your new brothers and sisters that you will not use tobacco in any form that day. You will post your name and the number of days you are quit each day in the January 2014 quit group. Each and every day you will post your promise. No exceptions. That is the price of admission to KTC. Nothing more and nothing less. The reason you are put in January is that will be the month if you join us today that you will celebrate being 100 days free of nicotineÂ…your Hall of Fame date. Look up at the salmon colored tab at the upper left of this screen. It is the welcome center. Go there and read all you can about quitting, as it will provide alot of information you will probably have questions about. Next, go to Jan 2014 and post Roll. Today is your Day 1. Post your name and day 1 after it. Then go back and read some more. I have sent you a pm in your Inbox(1). Open it and you will find my telephone number. Call me when you need to vent, rage or just talk about quitting. We are here to help. Congrats on taking your life back. Wayne

Welcome to freedom. One day at a time we all gain a little more freedom. Post roll, keep your word and stay close to this site.

I have day 1,968 beat. I'll deal with tomorrow when it comes. Today, I am unwilling to compromise my health and freedom. Today, there is NO circumstance that would make me break my word.

Get busy doing something. Drink water until the water company calls and tells you you've used to much. Use fake, seeds, candy gum or toothpicks. You got one goal today. Keep you're word. Glad to be quit with you.

If this was easy no one would be dipping. The first week is tough. No getting around it. But it will get easier. Just fight through the early stuff, keep posting every morning and ask for help if you need it.

Keep hydrated I used cranberry juice it really helped me. I could tell the days I didn't drink it. Also here is a thought headaches are easier to cure than cancer. Keep you head up do what you have to do to keep the poison out of your face. Lick cat asses whatever it takes.

yup. Dip dreams are a common phenomenon. It is normal and expected. Use that fear and humiliation you feel when waking up to fuel your quit.
I am quit with you.
