Post by: Bknisley on September 08, 2014, 06:05:00 PM
Hey KTC,

Hey all, I'm Brandon. Quit yesterday at exactly 1 pm. Second time quitting. In the fog and it suuuuuuucks. . Trying to remember what Rickson Gracie said "you have to live the nightmare..." Here I am. Looking forward to quitting for good. Everyone else in the same boat just embrace the suck and we'll get through it. Thanks for the awesome resource!

Brandon congrats on making the first step. Now don't worry about forever, post roll and quit today. Quitting forever is to big to wrap ones head around but one day is possible.

Welcome man. To correct you, you stopped once and NOW you are quit. Keep it that way. When your feet hit the floor in the morning, post roll every day, no excuses. Every single day, you tell yourself how bad you despise the nic bitch and mean it. Come on KTC as much as possible and read until your eyes hurt.

First of all, Welcome Brandon and actually this is not the 2nd time you have quit, because you only quit once. You have stopped before for sure, as we all have done many many times. This is because you and we are addicts and as such, we make addict excuses to have just one more. But it never stops at one, does it? Anyway that is the first step in my opinion, realizing that you are an addict. Once you realize that this is not a habit, you have gotten over the first hurdle. Now since you are 24 hours, go post roll in the December group and promise to not use tobacco for 24 hours. Thats it, the big secret is you keep your promise, be a man of your word and you will not fail. Wake up and do it again. This method is fool proof if you are a man of your word, you cannot fail and we walk right alongside you. Welcome

How dare you quote a Gracie in your intro and then not follow through. Unreal. A disgrace to BJJ and yourself. Happy dipping. 'drool'
