the main one: tired of being an addict and letting a rich company control me!
Romans 6:16
16 Surely you know that you become the slaves of whatever you give yourselves to. Anything or anyone you follow will be your master. You can follow sin, or you can obey God. Following sin brings spiritual death, but obeying God makes you right with him.
then theres the obvious health benefits both physical and psychological. i believe alot of my struggle with anxiety over the last 20 yrs is related to nicotine.
my boy is 12yr old and we are like peas in a pod, i couldnt imagine being responsible for leading him into the bondage of snuff.
i coach and volunteer alot in the community, so the example i would be setting by quitting could really help others.
money.
wife
to prove to myself i can do it.
death, cancer, deformation, extra cash, moral reasons?

Quit because you WANT TO.
All those reasons are great, and they will get you started. But there are some very tough days. There are also some very easy days. We can't worry about that, so we worry about today.
I was just listening to my radio, and a song came on that said:
You don't really know where you stand
Until you know that you won't run away.
First step, post roll. Promise to yourself and us that you won't use nicotine today. Then, keep your word. Sometimes, that promise lets you know where you stand in good times and bad. Finally, get ready to repeat these steps.
A quit is not just a decision. It is the act of doing it.
Walk the walk, man. Walk the walk.
Take a look up at the black banner above and find the salmon colored "WELCOME CENTER". Click on that, and post your promise. We'll be happy to help you along the way.

Welcome to your freedom from nicotine Skeener! You can do this!
You've already gotten great advice from some tremendous quitters. Post roll every day as your word to not use today. Read as much as you can, stay close to the site when you are craving, reach out and get to know your quit brothers. Supporting others will help your quit. Make this quit about you. You are ready to quit, period. You loved ones will benefit, but make it about you, your quit, your integrity.
Glad you are here, PM me if I can help.
