well im new to this site. my name is steven and this is my reason for quiting(this time) i work a firefighter and my asst chief made a bet with four of us. the bet is we quit for good and he shaves his head. well we came in on sunday and shaved his head and we through out all of are cans. i know some of the guys dont take this like i am. so if any one has any ideas on stuff that has worked in the past. im more then willing to try it.

Go and read all that you can on this site. Then go post roll , if you have trouble with that pm one of us. The biggest advice I can give you is it is going to be hell, pure unadulterated fucking hell. Quit for yourself only, for nothing or no one else. If you have the balls join us here in August. I would quit with you man.

Greer I really am not reading the intro of a quitter. Please prove me wrong. I look forward to seeing you catch the true quit spirit and post roll everyday. You need to educate yourself about being a nicotine addict. Many times we hear people report that nicotine is one of the hardest DRUGS to quit.

So, if the Asst. Chief has already paid his bet by shaving his head and you cave, what does he expect back from you?? Might want to check into this??
But, you ain't gonna cave, right? Be strong, be the example, and persevere through the Quit! We quit by honoring our word to a daily Quit! Don't let us down.

Greer,,, Really? Did you really think u would quit the most addictive drug known to man without really wanting to? I read your post last night. I was pretty sure u wouldn't make it past the morning crave.
You wasn't ready to to take your life back. You weren't ready to stop giving your money to something that is doing absolutely nothing for you but taking. You have no clue what it takes to battle nicotine, and it doesn't look like your ready to find out either. One more thing,, did you know nicotine causes you to lie also. That would be the bet you were suppose to own up to.
I knew you were wasting every ones time, including your bosses. It sounds to me like your boss is trying to do what he can to make your life better and you don't even know it.
When your ready to take your life back. When your ready to stop spending money on something that will eventually kill you let us know. We are here for real and you can bet on that!!!
