I am 3 days into my quit and it has been easier than expected, but still rough at some points. I have chewed for 14 years and have been chewing 2+ cans per day for the last 5 or so. I am fulfilling my oral fixation with Smokey Mountain pouches and sunflower seeds.
I have been getting foggy once or twice per day. How long will that last?

Post roll, bud. Winning alone is possible, although I don't know anyone that has been able to do it. Did you know that a tin of this shit has as much nicotine as about 3 packs of smokes? Do you know many smokers (who are alive) that smoke 3 packs a day? This stuff is wicked addictive. And winning as a team works. I don't know a lot of things, but I do know how to quit. Posting roll seems lame - thats what I thought 6 years and 1 month ago when I did it for the first time. Haven't missed a day since.
As far as the fog - mine lasted about 50 days. And when it lifted I was pissed as hell for missing that much of my life. Savor the fog - write about it here. That way you can look back and say... never again for any reason!
POST ROLL! Welcome Aboard!

Hey Jeff,
Welcome to the site. Like W2W said above, you need to get on roll. That is the price of admission to all the free support and information this site has to offer.
You will be in the May 2019 Pre-HOF Quit Group. You can find it HERE (https://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?topic=1015.345).
Post roll early in your day, everyday. Keep your word for 24 hours, come back the next day and do it again. We quit one day at a time here.
Glad to have you aboard,
Chris

Day 4 without a chew is taking its toll, but I am getting through it. I have been using smokey mountain pouches, life savors, and sunflower seeds.
Today is the first day I have had a headache throughout the process. The pills haven't touched it. I view the pain as a temptation to put a dip in and all will be better. I will stick this out and hopefully it will be gone soon.
Lot's of good information on this site. I am glad I stumbled upon it

Man I remember the headaches, absolutely sucked. I couldn't get shit done at the office.
You know what you need to do..... yep.... EMBRACE THE SUCK. Never forget how much hell it was you went through.
That way down the road you can remember the battle that commenced against the filthy drug called nicotine.
The good part is it gets soooo much better, and since you are going to keep your word and keep posting roll you will never have to go through this shit again.
Never Again For ANY Reason
393 and proud to quit with you.

If it makes you feel any better I am right there with you on Day 7, first couple days I was great, in shock at how easy it was... Then boom. Stay strong, and do what you have been doing. I have the Seeds and Lifesavers going also, and need to find some fake stuff to help a little..
Proud of you Man! Keep going and remember it gets better. Proud to be Quit with you today!
