Hey all.

Been dipping for about 3 years. After a conversation with another former dipper the other days, I realized it was time.
Grinds and Gum has been helping so far. Any other suggestions?

Yes, my suggestion is to become very active with this community for at least 100 days. After that, remain active.

We have a community of incredible support provided by thousands of people who are all addicted to nicotine. We are still addicted, we just don't use it anymore. We have been where you have been. We have seen it all, and have an answer to every question, and a solution to every problem you will face as you quit. You are 24 hours in, but you are in for a rough ride. Your participation in this group will substantially improve your odds for success.

The backbone of this site is posting Roll in your Quit Group. By posting roll, you promise your group, and the entire community that you will remain free of nicotine in any form for the entire day. Wake up tomorrow, and make the promise again. We post roll every single day, weekends, holidays, birthdays. We promise to not use, and take the option of using off the table.

Get active with your March group. They have all been quit for about as long as you have. They are going through the same things you are, and will be going through.

Quitting is hard. Nicotine is very addictive and very seductive. Your body feels as if using nicotine is normal, which it is not. Your chances of successfully quitting and remaining quit are not very good by yourself. Most of us wish we had quit when we were your age, after three years of use. Most of us dipped and chewed for 10, 15, 25, 30 or more years. We all tried to quit on our own, but were not successful til we signed up here, and gave ourselves up to the methods used here. This place works, but it requires your buy in.

can't say it any better than that!! these are true words. I hope you do jump in and stay quit with us. you are avoiding decades of damage to many facets of your life if you can stay quit with us! just one day at a time. that's all it takes.

Wow quitting after dipping only three years. Bobby that is awesome. I wish I had quit that early but it took me 35 years. I quit with you today.

Yes, post roll. It's a daily promise to quit nicotine in any form for 24 hours. It works.

Great choice. Drink lots of water to flush, also taking epsom salt baths helps me to .......got the tip from a former smoker - he did some detox program but the bath water would be brown he said from the soak...mine was not so bad but I feel refreshed after the detox bath. Take up some form of exercise if you can -- to increase activity it helps!
Post roll and take care - you are here you made the choice- and you are QUIT - day by day it will get better I am on Day 14 and proud to quit with you.
