I'm a little nervous. My sister referred me to this site, her husband has used it. I don't see any women on here? Am I in the wrong place?

There are a few women around. Don't be afraid we don't bite but we can be a little vulgar around here.
Are you a smoker or a chewer? Have you quit already or are you just looking into it? Tell us a little more about yourself.

If you're worried, go over to WhackThePack (http://whackthepack.com/index/) and say hi to Denney and SamCat...not sayin that's where you should go, they float between that site and this one, they're just a few of the more experienced (i'm just referring to their quit) women here

hay theres plenty a bad ass woman quiterers round here. why dont you send a pm to some buddy like samcat or hawkins. i no for a fact there womens. i seen pickshurs. but i can tell you we are all here to help cuz we got one thing in commin. we all hate nic and big tabacky. so dont you worry. and dont you go dissappeerin.

The only wrong place is being stuck in a framework of being a using addict. If you want to break that framework, this is the place with the tools, resources and people that know how to get it done. That's all we care about. I don't care if you wear a dress and high heels or overalls and steel toes. If you are willing to give it your best in this fight, you'll have my support and that of many others that can help you along this path.

We quit cold turkey here, meaning no nic patches, gum or tobacco products. The central part of our program and success is posting roll call every day.
Head on over to the WELCOME CENTER (link in red at the upper left of your screen) and read all about posting roll. Then go to the May 2012 group and get started.
Also read everything you can under this link: KillTheCan.org. Information is power when it comes to quitting.
The initial days of quitting suck, but your life is worth the fight!! If you need anything else, just shout.

Hi, I'm Michelle, and I joined in Jan 11, this place literally saved my life, and I gained about 200 brothers who I love dearly, and yes, there are women here, SamCat, SayrahAnne, Hawkins, Healthy New Me, there were more who supported me in the beginning of my quit.
You will need to head over to the May group, sign your name today on roll call, BUT, you must be tobacco free, this includes any tobacco replacement products as well, including the patch.
We are all here to help and support you.
