Yeah, this site is swell. Gonna take the gang down to the soda parlor later and braid some back hair. As long as we all post roll that is.
Seriously not getting the gist this thread Archie.

Still here! Today is day 16! Stress seems to be the main culprit as far as wanting a dip! I just stay away from the car when that happens!
-
I'm not a troll either,at least I don't think I am? I just don't post much. I still want to stay "quit" though!

Gonzo, I've been goofin' around some 'cause I wasn't sure you were gonna stick it out but in reality, this is serious stuff. If you quit 17 days ago your in the 01/14 quit group (http://forum.killthecan.org/topic/10564902/1/?x=90). These are the folks you'll be clean 100 days with. Post your promise here everyday or text someone your quit. The Welcome Center (http://forum.killthecan.org/forum/55560/) will explain the whys and hows of posting up. Shout if you have any questions!

Here since October 17th and hasn't posted roll once. I'm with Thumble on this one.
-
Stopping by and not posting roll is like going into a trauma with no gloves. You'll probably get away with it for awhile but carelessness has a tendency of catching up with us, eventually. Do no harm, Gonzo.

I only scanned because this cat isn't engaged.
I sense we have a guilt ridden quitter.
I call his bluff. Hey nicotine humper. Truly how many days are you quit?
Don't bullshit me. If you do, you are not ready to go to war with us.
fess up or shut up!
Dick!
Fuck you for having chewed on this site. If you come here for help...spit it out and flush it. Show a little class and respect. 'Finger'

Very true I don't know all the ins and outs of the site. My apologies. I DO have 20 days under my belt. I will try and follow how the site is run. I thought I was doing ok? Guess not, no worries no harm meant. Peace
-
I posted roll the other day so am I ok or still in the dawg house? I'd like to stick around but if others don't want me it's cool.Willing to learn but also not willing to be pissed on. I will continue the fight as best I can.

You were absolutely all set (assuming you kept your word) the day you posted up. We post roll each and every day as a promise to ourselves and each other to not ingest nicotine in any form, that day. It's quick, painless and will eventually add a zero or two to the success you've had so far. The thing about addiction is that it can creep back up on you without warning, at any moment. Your daily roll post is your armor against that eventual probability. Twenty days is a hell of a start and further then I ever got on my own. You can pretty much guarantee this is your last quit with a daily promise.
Get to know the folks in your group... 'help' someone in need... get more contacts... commit. Think about how far you would have traveled to get your fix... What would you have done? In terms of quitting, what are you prepared to do to ensure your success? Can you post roll each day? Can you put an ill informed, internet clown who thinks he's helping into perspective? Universal precautions, man.

I appreciate your words copingwithoutcopen! I didn't understand about posting roll everyday. I will do my best to become an asset to the site and others who are in the same or similar boat as me. Also I wouldn't have said I quit if I didn't,that only hurts me.

Nice turn-around gonzo, even if it only took you a couple of weeks to get with the program. Looking forward to seeing you on roll call.

I've been addicted to one thing or another for close to forty years. I come from a long line of addicts as well,my dad,grand-father and so on. Quitting chew this time hasn't been easy and I'm sure will continue to not be easy. The product I believe doesn't matter and I'm not saying it's not deadly it's just the latest thing I became addicted to. I have to watch my personality if you know what I mean. It's too easy for me to become addicted. Thanks to you guys and gals there may be hope for me yet. Fight the good fight!

Lets see if I can clean my intro a bit since it's been a while. I had been dipping for 15 years or so and I started late,in my mid 30's. Yeah I know I'm a dumb fuck! Like I've said before and I'll say it again I'm an addict first been addicted to one thing or another for over 35 years. Weather it was pot, coke, booze, nicotine it just seemed to be the next thing I did. Luckily I'm also addicted to working out that's one thing I won't stop! I'm 50 so yeah I'm an old fuck too. I have today 92 days clean from the nic bitch! I can't tell you how happy I am to say that! I also know that my quit is still fragile and I need to be mindful of that everyday! People here at KTC are great for the most part, lol. I didn't care for some of the name calling when I first got here but I understand that's part of it,helps weed out the trolls. I was in the Navy for 4 years spent some time with the Marines (Corpsman) got out then joined the Army (medic)in 1990,yup got activated for desert shield/storm. No problem I'm not a hero I was a rear echelon puke! My dad was a hero in my eyes he fought in WWII and was a POW in Germany for a year and 6 mos! Well I spilled some guts here today to tell you a little about me. I appreciate the chance and also the help KTC has given me. I hope I can return the favor.

Awesome intro. I knew there was a reason why I've been posting support roll for you. I just had a feeling that you, Natro, Cindy, and AFA were going to be some super solid quitters. Keep on keepin on.
