Glad you're here killshot! Congrats on making the decision to quit for good this time. 1) You've got to want it, to be quit that is. 2) We can only hold you accountable if you trust the process. 3) Put yourself out there, talk to some guys and exchange digits. You may be helping the guy out tomorrow that is helping you out today. 4) Head on over to Pre HOF group, May 2019, post roll and introduce yourself as a day 1 if you haven't already. 5) Post roll every single morning. Put your screen name, days of quit, and a message if you want... WUPP- WAKE UP PISS POST.

You follow just these 5 guidelines, you will be doing alright. But the more you put into your quit, the more you will get out of it. Again, welcome and IQWYT- I QUIT WITH YOU TODAY

Welcome to the May 19 quit group.  I’ve only been on here for about 4 days but I’ve learned a lot in those 4 days.  The biggest thing to know is that the vets on here care about You and your quit so listen to them, they’ve been exactly where you are.  WUPP is what should get you out of bed in the morning the first few days...Gunnar day 5 I quit with you today

I am here in the may group also. 37 been dipping for 19 years.  I am just sick of it and I have made a choice to change my lifestyle.  The can was a crutch and an anchor to my personality. I see that now at only 16 days, It shaped my behavior in negative ways... I know the hard part is quitting, but the challenge is staying quit.

You're welcome. Hope you're feeling better. There are people here in much worse shape than the flu who are posting when they wake up. You came here to be held accountable. WUPP EDD is being accountable. It's not easy, but who ever said it was supposed to be easy?

Welcome, James. You should start your own Introduction thread.

But since you're here, though, let me assure you that you made the best decision you could possibly make for yourself. My whole life revolved around getting my next nicotine fix and there was nothing pretty about it. That crutch is gone and now a different life is for the taking without that insidious slave master. There's some discomfort, and growing pains, but there's a great life ahead if you chose it. You wouldn't mind a few days of discomfort if you injured your spine and had to learn how to walk again, right. It's like that. Be strong, do strong, stay strong.

I'm only a PM away if you need some digits.
