I never did an intro, and hopefully get to a HOF speech some time in the near future, but right now I have some questions regarding post HOF craves/issues...

The last couple days I've been having some craves. They are not major, and there is no way I would cave given the support system I have and all of the negative consequences that would come from that, but they are still craves that I have not had in a while. I'm on day 122, and RARELY had any major craves after the first month. I also used smokey mountain quite a bit in the first couple weeks, but I hadn't used anything like that for about 2 months until yesterday. I bought some smokey mountain yesterday and it helped, but I also don't want to be using fake dip (maybe just a pride thing).

Has anyone else experienced some craves in the first few weeks post HOF? And what are your thoughts on fake dip use post HOF. Is it dangerous for a quit?

Clinton seems to be one of those funks every one gets into my guess is the high has wore off by reaching the hof then the stress of seeing brothers  sisters not posting anymore after the HOF kinda gives you a let down. but it goes away and my next one didnt come until 180. i still use fake stuff every once a while its easy to get rid of it so dont worry about that.

If the fake is what you need, use it. Or seeds, fireballs, etc.

There is almost always a funky period right after the HOF. Kind of like you are streaking toward a defined goal, and once you get there - Now what? Best thing to do is reset your goal. One year, day by day? 200 ODAAT? whatever works. It wont clear the fog/funk right away, but it will get your mind back where it needs to be.

I had some pretty nasty spots just after the HOF that were in some ways WORSE than the early going (not like day 1-7 bad, but easily near the mid 20's). I am sure as a 3BiT, you must have missed that page when you were doing your history reading. ;)

You are doing great. This is just the bitches way of reminding you that addiction is a daily battle, no matter how far removed you are from active use. This too shall pass.

Somebody warned us Jackwagins about it, and that warning really helped I think. Just hang in there. Keep doing what you know works. Related: if you want to throw in a fake dip, do it. It's healthier than slamming your nuts in a desk drawer, which would be my next recommendation after gum, seeds, candy, exercise, water, and fake stuff.

Thanks a lot everyone. I really appreciate the feedback. Just a great reminder to always be vigilant and to keep using KTC as it's meant to be used regardless of milestones because we are not cured. On to 200!

I just ordered a 10 can pack of smokey mountain and I havent been usin' that much at all lately. I, myself, keep thinking that it will go away some day... Until then there is support and smokey mountain. Keep with it brother!

Yesterday in the mail I got a promotional letter from Copenhagen. At a country concert a year ago I went into the cope tent they had set up and got free shit to put in my mouth. All I had to do was give them my address and email etc. I thought it was "so worth it" at the time. 'Crazy'

The nic bitch (and big tobacco) is always trying to tap you on the shoulder. I swatted that bitch away by ripping that letter up, dropping a few F bombs, and throwing it in the trash.

Congrats CBB on beating back the promo material! There's one I never would've thought of coming around as a potential trigger. I mean you would've forgotten by now that you even put your name/address down I'm sure.
