Hey everyone,
I quit today. I dipped a can a day. I am very excited to quit.
Welcome dipdaps. The first thing you need to do is find the link to the Septembwr quit group and post roll. Your roll is your daily promise to stay quit. Everyday go to the same quit group and post roll. Remember we take roll posting serious here. So if you cave you will have lied to yourself and every other quitter on this site that is keeping their quit going by making a daily promise. Good luck bud, it will get worse before it gets better. But it will definitely get better.

Congrats on your quit!
Tell us about yourself... how long did you use? why are you quitting?
This site is easy. Promise to quit, keep your promise, then repeat each day.

I must be losing my mind and my phone, because I see another new quitter who hasn't posted roll. If Dipdip has, my bad, but what up Sept?

Welcome Dipdap! Read the Welcome Center and post roll. Posting roll is the backbone of how KTC works. And if you really want to quit, KTC makes it possible. Tell us a little more about yourself and quit on!

Dipdaps I saw you posted roll. Great job. I quit with you today.

Glad to see your name on roll again today. Day three is awesome, you almost have all the nicotine out of your body. It may get worse before it gets better or it may get easier and easier. Nonetheless keep posting roll. You never know what life can throw at you that will test your quit, but as long as your name is on roll and your a man of your word (which I am sure you are) then you will remain quit. Take time to tell us more about yourself and how day three is going. Use this thread to document your quit all the way thru. I read mine from start to end last night, it reminded me why I am still here posing day 406 today.

GJ posting roll, I quit with you today.

I am 24. I started smoking cigarettes and drinking heavily at age 15. I switched to a can of Copenhagen a day about 1-2 years ago. I used to have a daily drinking problem. I don't drink anymore. Up until 7 weeks ago, I smoked 1/4 ounce of marijuana weekly. I don't smoke pot anymore. In December of 2013, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder type I. I've been on more anti-psychotic meds than I can count since then. This week, I start the mother of all BP meds, Lithium. Quitting nicotine is the final (and most difficult) step on my journey to full sobriety and mental wellness. I am so happy to have found this site. Good luck to everyone on it. Together, we can beat this succubus named nicotine forever. What a bitch.
