Hi,
Im Josh and its awesome that i came accross this site and i wanted to introduce myself. Im 32, married with 3 kids from NW Indiana. Ive been chewing for the last ten years of my life. Four years ago i manged to quit dippin 1 1/2 cans of grizzly a day to none for over a year. I started back up 2 years ago. That is the power this shit has on me. Well, ive decided to give it another go and im on my fourth day of quitting right now. Well, thats my story for now and id love to meet some new people that understand! Thank You

Well, ive decided to give it another go....
First welcome to the best, FINAL decision of your life. You have found an amazing community of quitters that will do everything possible to keep you on your forever quit path.
HOWEVER - and it's a HUGE however, you have to be all in. There is absolutely no try here. It's simply quit. You are not giving this another "go". That implies that there might be a chance this doesn't work. Do not give yourself that lame excuse. Make this your final quit.
You are quit four days and you are here, giving me your word you are quit today. You got this. Go all in.

Josh - I'm planning for the first time to quit. I'm 32 with 1 kid and have been dipping 2 cans of copenhagen for nearly 15 years. Since you have quit twice now - what can I expect, physically, for the first few days? thanks
Jason

Have you set your quit date?
Why not quit now?
Please explain to me how quitting later will be easier. (I've yet to hear a good explaination for this one)

I've said it to others, I'll say it to you...YOU HAVE NOT DECIDED TO QUIT UNTIL YOU QUIT. Almost everyone of us has experienced the, "I'll quit tomorrow" routine in which tomorrow never comes. If you have decided to quit, then you quit...if you are still trying the "just one more then I'll quit" bit, you are nowhere near where you need to be mentally to quit.
