Title: introduction Carl
Post by: cheffrair on March 11, 2014, 10:19:00 PM
Well trying to solidify my upcoming quit with all the weapons I can. I am a 41 year old professional Chef so needless to say addictions are almost a way of life for us. I have been chewingfor 22 years...started on Kodiak....went to Rooster and the last wad Grizzly. I made a final promise to myself that when my daughter was born I would be done....six months later...I still find every reason to buy just one more can with the intention it will be my last. I hate how it controls me...I hate how I lie and hide it...my wife thought I had quit before she delivered...of course it is tax time...so once I handed her my bank statements...it was exposed. I broke her heart...and mine...I keep wondering if I will be around to see my daughter graduate...get married...or have her own kids.

I have a doc appt tomorrow to discuss Chantix...I have read many positive reviews from long time cheered about their results. Ihave ordered logs of spicy beef jerky cans....I am truly ready to kiss this goodbye. ;Ironman:

Good Evening Lazy Fuck.

Read #1 for as many times as you posted an introductions. Since you probably can't count either that would be 3 times.

Then see if you have the hand eye coordination to click on this link
index.php?showforum=13 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showforum=13)

Take your Chantix bullshit elsewhere. We quit cold turkey here. If you don't have the balls to take that step then maybe one of the women here will let you use their velcro balls for a week so you can jump start your quit.

Whoooa. Easy there p23.

A lot of guys fuck up on posting intros. I did when I first joined. I had like 5 intros going, the mods had to merge them for me.

Also, chantix is nicotine free. A few guys have used it to help early on. It's not a NRT product like the patch or nicorette.

Chef, I urge you to read everything you can on this site.

Start posting role and get involved. This site works if you follow the game plan.

P23...switch to decade. Lol.

Not sure how I will be able to live my life knowing another person isn't happy with my presentation.

Oh I know... I'm going to +1 tomorrow and quit with Chef. Since we already gave him the run down in live chat. But you knew that already.

Congrats on your live chat. Why would I know about that? Either way, doesn't change the fact you are a fuckhead.

I'm weeping.

Why dont you join the live chat or send me some private hate messages so we can stop measuring our cocks in chef's thread unless that's something you enjoy.

Dear Chef,

I apologize for getting into a fight with kleenex box in your thread. On the bright side now you will will get even more support from the people who think I'm an asshole.

Chief I'm one of those Diesel talked about that used chantix. I had it left from a previous attempt and so what the hell why let it go to waste. My thoughts and experiences are; I believe it helped, but for me I'm one that had vivid wild dreams (real messed with my sleep). I also take Wellbutrin, not to help in quitting but for anxiety. I really believe it has a place in quitting for some addicts that suffer anxiety. I had a vet rip into me when I mentioned chantix when I quit, they thought it had nicotine. To me anything that doesn't have nicotine that helps without having bad side effects is an option. Chantix, Wellbutrin, fake dip, candy, seeds or whatever all are viable possibilities.

Welcome to the quit, chef. I'm on day 11 and I can tell you it's not easy. But with the support of (most) of the people in here, it'll get easier.

Reach out to someone. Exchange phone numbers so you have someone to text with that knows what you're going through (it's easier than logging onto the forum any time you're feeling bitchy).

Feel free to PM me. Quit with you today.

Chef,
I think what p23 was doing is exhibiting one of the most common side effects of quitting...irritability. Some call it asshole-itis. We all do it. Usually to loved ones so you can obviously see that p23 loves you.

I've stated before that I admire an HoF intro that is a page or 2 long for some reason, so gratz Chef on your HoF. Love the e-peen vet drama between Lipi and P23 as well, chatted with both in the last 2 months and quit like fuck with all 3 of you tonight!
