Hello. I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself. This is my second recent attempt to quit with the last time lasting a month and a half. I just flushed my dip and am ready to be free of this evil. I have dipped for over 15 years and I'm ready to take my life back. I am a freight conductor for one of the class 1 railroads, which makes it very difficult to quit since we normally sit 6 to 14 hours on a train at a time. I have been married for over 14 years to a wonderful women whom has given me 6 amazing children. I'm feeling really good about this time around and am glad my wife told me about this site.

Paz - just sent you a PM. Similar situation to yours, chewed for 33 years and I was ready to quit when my wife pointed me towards KTC. (Computer programmer, I practically live online these days, and it never occurred to me to seek an online support group... thank God for my wife!)
Like ready said - post roll. Dive in, learn how things work, participate as much as you can and make this place your home for a couple of months. It really does work.

Hi Paz, just threw out my cans today too. I'm a pilot - sounds like a similar circumstance to yours as far as being on road, etc, and funky hours. Let's kick this crap, man!

Seriously, Grats on the best decision of your life (except for salvation, but I ain't gonna preach here). Dive right in to February 2018 HOF Class. Get to know your quit brothers. Lean on them. It's gonna suck for awhile, but then it won't. I'll quit with you....along with a whole shit ton of others!!!
