Hey everyone,
This is my first real attempt to stop dipping. I started on 21 April and haven't had a chew in two days now. I have tried to quit before but I never actually put my heart and mind into it. I've been dipping for almost 7 years now. It was a habit I picked up when I came into the military and I just never gave it up. But now things are different and I am determined to quite for good now. I have been making a lot of changes in my life recently and I feel that this is one that needs to happen as well. I am confident with the help of this forum, everyone here and all my friends I will be able to quit. I know there will be hard days ahead, but this is a challenge that I am ready to take head-on and overcome this addiction. I look forward to meeting and talking with people on here and hope to make some friends. That's enough for now, gotta stock up on sunflower seeds and chewing gum lol.

Welcome RWeezy.
You need to own this quit - lose the mentally that this is a "try" or an "attempt", you posted roll, so you are QUIT for the day. You promised yourself, me, and thousands of others you would be. Don't worry about tomorrow until tomorrow.
Also embrace that you are an addict, and that dipping isn't a habit, but an addiction. Once my eyes were open to that is when I became a quitter instead of a stopper.
Get some phone numbers and make some friends, a text from a fellow quitter can kill a crave - it works.

Welcome RWeezy.
I am a July 2015 Juvenile Jackal with you :-)
Stay Strong, Stay Quit!

You have a PM, brother. Welcome to the fight! Hang on...in less than 48 hours you will have a solid team of quit rangers on your phone and computer at the ready to support your victory. It's a beautiful thing, man...the accountability is incredible, and you WILL have your victory.

Come on back and post roll every day.
We want to know you are doing ok and still quit.
Make a promise every day.

Are you quit? If you are, why aren't you posting roll? If you caved already maybe you'll realize this isn't just a "habit" Man up and get your head right.

I appreciate everyone's support! Nice to know I'm not alone in this.

Today I've finally had enough after over 25 years. I've tried to stop a couple of times before through the years but it wasn't really my decision. Hope now that it is because of me I can rid myself of this disgusting addiction

Hey Bucky. Great decision to quit. Make your own intro. Read the Welcome Center and post roll in August 2015.
