Post by: fireLt. on October 31, 2007, 06:32:00 AM: Hello, I am new here. I am going to get the quit done this time. 'bang head' I have chewed for 18 years and "quit" more times than I can count. I stumbled on this forum looking for a new approach. You sound like a bunch of hard asses that won't put up with lame excuses and that is what I need. I suck at peer pressure and many of my friends/coworkers dip. The time is now and the new can of Skoal just went in the trash. :(

Hey Lt. Congrat's on a great decision and welcome. Get into the February '08 quit group and post roll call for today. Posting roll is a promise to you and the rest of us, your quit brothers, that you will not chew today. Judging from your screen name you understand the concept of "brotherhood", do you understand the concept of being a man of your word to your brothers? Accountability is the key to this site.

The next 3 days are going to be the worst, but you can do it. Drink tons of water, read the posts on the site, and post your feelings. Vent on us, we can take it. Oh by the way, take the can out of the trash and flush it. You don't want the can to be calling your name later on.
