I just want to take this time to check in and thank everyone on here for the support. This will be the last of many attempts to stop chewing. It's only night 2 and I've got one of the most ridiculous headaches imaginable. I know it's been said that it will get worse before it gets better but to be nicotine/Tabaco free is a must for me. Look forward to being a part of this brotherhood

Mac, the support is just starting. Congratulations on a good decision, and welcome here.
A couple thoughts:
1. Drink lots of water, it helps. On average the nicotine should be out of your system by tomorrow night. It will get better, then even better over time.
2. Head over to the January 2016 quit group. Say hello, post roll. These quitters are also in their first days, and you can pull together for success now and later. Share digits with new and old quitters, they can help if things get tough. Then post roll again every morning when you wake up.
3. Check out the chat, and read the words of wisdom, legend posts, and hall of fame posts -- they did it, so can you.
I quit with you today.

It will suck until it doesn't.
Embrace the suck, let this be the reminder of what your up against. Dont ever forget the suck, when you do, you increase the chances of having to do this again.

Looking forward to being part of the brotherhood? If you're quit, you already are. POST ROLL and LIVE FREE. You can do this. Also, about that headache...do you think it is better or worse than disfiguring tongue and/or jaw removal, feeding tubes, chemotherapy? Personally, I'd take a sore head for a few days over the alternative. I bet you would too.
Learn to turn the tables on the Nic Bitch. Make the decision that you will ENJOY every moment of freedom and all that comes with it. EMBRACE THE SUCK!!! It is the feeling of healing, brother!!!

Don't stop dipping, brother. QUIT! Stop stopping and QUIT!

I'd rather have a headache for 2-3 days than cancer. Not really much of a choice. Read the Welcome Center, post roll. It works.
