Title: New quitter starting day 1
Post by: dbhoward21 on April 20, 2011, 05:05:00 AM
Hey everyone well I think I have dipped long enough. I have been dipping for 7 years now and have tried to quit to many times to count. I know have stocked up with about 50 cans of smokey mountain wintergreen and 10 bags of sunflower seeds so I shall be on here posting roll call and venting as well lol. But thanks everyone for making the greatest site ever.

Welcome Howard,

Glad you have made the decision of your life. Like anything else worth doing, quitting nicotine isn't easy. Unlike most other things worth doing, it will save your life. Post roll first thing in your day. This is your promise to everyone here not to use. Honor that promise. We quit just for one day, we don't think about tomorrow. When tomorrow comes, we post again, and honor that promise.

One last piece of advice: Like me, you are walking down a well traveled path. There are people here that know how to quit. They know this program of accountability works. They know what you are going through because they have been there. Listen to them, they know of what they speak.

glad to be quit with you,

30

We do expect you to be here well after 100 days, we expect you to stay true to your word. In return you will receive the tough love it takes to stay on track. No one is going to sugar coat anything for you, we will tell you like it is. Sack up and take it one day at a time.

Welcome to the Quit.

If you only "think" then you are doomed. You must know it just as you know you need air to live. Post roll every day, give your word that you will not dip and keep your word.

Welcome Howard! Honored to be Quit with you. Make sure you post Roll Call first thing in the morning. By doing so you are giving your word that you will not use nic that day. Then do whatever the hell it takes to get through that day! We are all here and Quit with you. If I can help please PM me. Today I posted Roll Call and today I am Quit. Peace
