hey im a senior in highschool, i turn 18 on st pattys day, and just trying to quit before i turn 18. I have quit for a few times and always fall back, they were during wrestling and football season, but now that both of them are over I think it will be easier because I am not always around people who dip.

Good for you "lunchbox" you have made a wise decision. Hang tough and fight hard. Read as much as you can and do not be shy. Ask question's if needed?

I know a wrestling coach that used to always 'recite the man in the glass'. Is that how you are familiar? His name was Lenny Sedlack.

The connector in my mouth the part in the top center and bottom center, the bottom one feels like it is completely gone, after quitting for a while does this start to reheal and come back or will this be a permanent damage, also will my gums start rising again or is that damage also ireversible?

According to my dentist, the gums grow back.

From personal experience, this is true.

If you're like me and avoided the dentist like the plague for an extended amount of time, you may need to have the crud taken off before they will grow back. I had to have a deep scalar cleaning in order for them to start healing. It sucked but I am starting to get a little confidence back in my smile, so it was worth it.
And enjoy not having that little flappy thing on the bottom of your tounge. At least you don't have anything to get sore when you are....well...... 'Y' you get the point. ;)
