I quit Skoal back around 1994 and never faltered until I tried Camel Snus about 3 years ago. I was addicted again. I quit for the second time this past Friday at 6 PM. Every time I started feeling weak I just look at the white spots that formed on my tongue and pray that they go away. I have been having the normal withdrawals, but nothing too severe.

Keep your head down and stay focused. You already know what it feels like to be free. Will be prayingt that the spots go away also!

Flesh be very careful, if quitting has anything to do with the white spot, when it goes away the bitch will be pushing hard to come back. I'm sure I don't need to tell you we've all had the fear of the new sores, pain or sore throat! Pm me if I can help with anything.

^^ Read the WELCOME CENTER up top to learn how and why we post roll. Post roll the December 2012 HOF group every day to promise you won't use.
Also, if those spots have been there for 2 weeks or don't go away in 2 weeks, I suggest going to the doctor.

This evening will make 7 full days days with NO DIP and my tongue is returning to normal. Yep, maintaining the quit for the long haul will be the real struggle.

Flesh, I too succumbed to the harmless (yeah right) camel snus and up until 32 days ago I was it's slave for years. It got to the point where if I wasn't eating or sleeping there was one in my cheek all day and night. I lied to myself daily that it would be my last can. The most important thing you can do for your quit is post roll every day, and promise not to use nicotine in any form just for today. Tomorrow will worry about itself, but as soon as you get up each day, post roll, and help others out with support any time you can. Read the stories, post your progress, and stop worrying about quitting long term. Quitting each day is hard enough.

I believe yesterday made 42 days since my last dip ! The desire to dip is still there, but not so strong that I can't say no. :)

Why do you only have 3 posts then?
Why should I care if you're not here to support me?

Never a truer word has been spoken... One day at a time is your best bet.
