Been chewing for 18 years wow. That is a long time. I am done no more today I draw the line in the sand.

Welcome iquit1981. I see you're posting roll, and that you are the first member of the August group.
You've made the best decision of your life.
My best advice to you is to get active in this community. Post roll every day. Read everything that you can. Stay quit.
Before long, your Quit Group will be filling up. Until then, you might want to get to know another group for a little while. The August 2015 group would probably be a good place to start. Go there, and introduce yourself. They've been here for a year now, and they can get you headed in the right direction.
I'm proud to be quit with you.

Welcome aboard! Drink lots and lots of water to help flush the poison out quicker, stock up on your preferred way to deal with the oral fixation (seeds/candy/gum/fake) and post your promise one day at a time. That's all there is to it. The more involved you are with your group the easier it will be.

I chewed for 17 or 18 years - then I quit. It can be done, post roll daily and the rest will follow.

Welcome IQuit! Isee you're on roll so that's awesome. You just have to keep your word and spout off every once in awhile to let's know you're all set. It's a new day.

Thank got for the words of advice. This morning has been rough but I just keep telling myself f that I quit. The true challenge will be tomorrow when I return to work.

It's just a day, brotha. The true challenge is coming back here each day and making a promise. Everything else will fall in place. Don't forget what this feels like, though. It sucks. You don't want to go through it again. The cost of freedom from nicotine is that promise and a little daily diligence. No more bs.

It's actually pretty simple.
Post roll early
Be a man of your word
Can't dip if you make that promise and hold true to it
I dipped for 23 years. Quit 788 days ago.
