Hello everybody,
My name is Dan and I am currently a member of the October 2016 quit group. I joined back in April of 2015; lasting a pathetic 2 days on KTC before never returning until now. I am currently on day 20; in my ten years of addiction I have never been 20 days without nicotine and my only regret is not sticking it out the first time I was on the website last year. To avoid scrutiny I signed up for KTC with a second account; however I was quickly detected and had to come clean; which proved to be the best decision I have made.
When I thought I was going to be flogged and shamed into oblivion for being weak I was met with massive support from both my current group and vets from the website. The people on this site will give you a shit for being and idiot; but if you stick with the program and are willing to invest in both yourself and others they will support you 110%.
Day 20 is a milestone for me today. It has been 20 tough days; but my group and support network has carried me through the days when I needed it the most. Like many on this site I am exhausted of nicotine running my life. I will continue to post every day and support my brothers as they have supported me. I hope to one day look back at this introduction and see that this is where it all began.

Keep your word and you'll get continued 110% support.
You're doing it this time!

First, thanks for your service. Second, no need to hope...it all began when you gave your posted roll. Quitting is done ONE DAY AT A TIME. Whether it is Day 1, Day 100 or Day 1000...the only day that matters is today. Keep your word all day, wake up and repeat. That is all there is to it. Stay quit, brother!

Big D,
Man, how you are staying active and playing a positive roll in October is the best thing you can do. That helps to solidify your quit. I see your posts and comments and it's evident you've got quit running through your blood. Stay strong and stay quit. Glad to see you are back with a vengeance!! Thanks for your service. Great intro. Can't wait to see you ride the HOF train.
