Hi everyone,
Im around the 30 day mark with no Chewing tobacco in my mouth and holy shit after being a user for about 2 years / the last 8 months heavily im very pissed I ever put that shit in my mouth. Now that I haven't dipped in almost 5 weeks Ive seen the damage that I've done to my mouth and it just disgusts me. I really do feel like everything is healing but my mouth is so sensitive it feels like even 1 or 2 cigarettes over the weekend will spark 1 or 2 cold sores in my mouth. My mouth is so weak right now but getting stronger slowly. I haven't been to the doctor yet to have the cold sore situation looked at but I'm gonna put down the ciggs and booze for a few weeks and see how the healing is going.
Did anyone experience cold sores frequently the first month after quitting dip ? It seems like my guns are very sore sometimes and the side lining of my mouth isn't strong. It's been a scary process because when you try to be your own doctor online you automatically suspect the worst.

Hey bro, sounds like you are trying to quit dipping by smoking. That is not what this site is about. We are a nic free site.
If you are ready to quit ALL nicotine for good, then we can talk. Read about this site in the Welcome Center and see if it for you.

If you're still using nicotine you don't get to play here dude.
Drop it all... Drop it for good... Then we'll rock.
We don't take breaks here. We quit. Every day.
Break your cycle of addiction bro and join us... Take your life back.

The mouth is the only part you can see. What about the part you can't see. This would be your lungs, throat, stomach and any other part that nicotine causes cancer in. Don't think for one second that smoking or any alternative to the can is your answer.
There is only one answer. QUIT!!!!
Reach deep, there is 1000's that have used this site to quit. How about you join us. Freedom!! Screw the poison in any form.
If you don't mind I would like to talk to your master for one second. If you do, oh well,, your not in control of anything, that's apparent.
Hey poison,, I still hate you. I hate that you stole 25 years from me. I hate that you stole over 30,000 dollars from me. I hope my friend here wakes up before it's to late. Now you've talked him into cigarettes.. How sad!! I hope my friend realizes that your not just after his gums. I hope he realizes that you take until there is nothing left.
Somewhere in you there is a quitter.. Find him,, I would like to meet this person.

You wanna admit you're a nicotine addict, and quit it permanently? this is your site.
You wanna pretend you're not an addict, and just "put down the ciggs for a few weeks" and see how she goes... well, this site isn't for you.

Are you fucking kidding? Is this post a joke? You stroll in asking about "quitting symptoms" while you're sucking down cigarettes?
This is a no nicotine site. Get it? Zero tolerance.
If you want to come back to post that you just inserted a tobacco leaf into your peehole, I'll talk to you because that would be super interesting. If you want to come back and post that you've tossed all nicotine and you're ready to quit, I'll talk to you at length and I'll do what I can to help you stay quit.
Otherwise, quit wasting everyone's time.

Yes trying to be your own doc online is the worst. Practically EVERYTHING is incurable cancer. You'll go crazy self diagnosing making yourself worse. There is one good answer though to never having to worry about that again. Check out everybody's answers in this thread see that being quit is the only long term solution to not having to worry about health issues again.
