Post by: fewracing625 on August 13, 2007, 11:39:00 PM
i have been chewing since i was about 15 yrs old and now im 21. it started off slow one can a week and just progressed to about two and half cans a day. i have been wanting to quit for a while but just couldn't didnt really have support just nagging from family. i found this site looking for ideas and support on how to quit from people that are going threw and have been threw the same things im going to be going threw. im glad i found this site and it has the support that people need. im starting my first day and just need to take it one day at a time and kick this habbit

Im right where you are bro, I dipped for 6 years myself, almost 7. Im nearing the end of day 3 right now. Im still feeling pretty crappy at times, but for the most part its been ok. Ive just tried to stay busy doing things. My alone time was always my dip time. So Ive been trying to stay where there's other people around. Stay strong dude, you can do it.

welcome to the group fewracing! i'm not going to tell you that it will be easy, but i can tell you that it is SO worth it! gaining freedom from the can is an incredible challenge, but you've got people here who can help.

head over to novemeber 2007 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=411) and introduce yourself to your quit group if you haven't already.

glad to have you!
