I'm Mike and I live in Minneapolis with my wife and two little girls. I've always thought of myself as a non-chewer and 20 years later, there I was with a can and spit cup in hand. I'm 34. I have stopped several times in the past, but this is my quit. Today is day 3 and I write this in a fog, with a headache. I'm an airline pilot by trade, rugby coach and all things rugby are my hobbies.
The fight is on and I am going to win. I can see the enemy, I can feel the enemy. I will rip his head off. I'll join my brothers and together we'll get the job done. Cheers 'Remshot'

Hey Mike Congrats on your choice to quit. Something you find out quick is that posting roll here at KTC is critical everyday. Find the pinkish link above for the welcome center and read on how to post roll and get started here at KTC. We look forward to seeing you in April 14. Look for Mogul in Feb 14. He is a pilot as well.

Post Roll every damn day or communicate with someone and have them post via text, email or call. Get as many number of your group as you can and use them frequently. Keep in touch with your quit brothers. Send them a PM, text or call every few days just to keep an open line of communication. Give them your email address. Make it IMPOSSIBLE for you to go a day without several people contacting you all day if you don't post roll.
You want another layer of accountability? Come post in my room every morning after you post roll in yours April 2012 (http://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?showtopic=5688&st=0)

Watch out Mikey! Cbird looped me in to this, and I post in April 12 EDD. Let me tell you it gets downright stanky in there at times, despite the fact that the house is made of windows you wouldn't beleive what the bumpin bastards do in there! haha! Actually there are some hero quitters in there that will lend you good support. Take it! Come on in to Jan 14 each day too if you like- the Nic Killers will have your back too!

Mikey, glad to hear you are still quit. Not sure what the "other group" part means to you, but looks like you only posted roll 4/23, 5/1 and now 6/10 or hitting about once a month since HOF. Not really news you are not posting. What's the deal? You get out what you put in to a great degree. The bitch is sneaky and will look for a chink in your quit armor; never forget or we will see you in another group posting a Day 1. Think about whether making that 1 to 2 minute investment/commitment everyday posting roll is worth protecting what you started here; or a few minutes more and pay it forward.

I would take heed to every word Sam said! He is a very smart quitter that knows how to remain quit. You've invested so much, why quit "quitting" now?
