Good call man. It will not be easy, but with the help of the people here I am on day 4. Does not sound like much, but for someone that has had a dip in their mouth for 30 years 4 days dip free is amazing. Step up, make the pledge to quit and do it. We are here for you.

I like it...cold turkey, no patch, no pill...just jumping off. We're with you. Post roll each day, read all you can on this site, and stay quit brother. Great choice!

Woah, take it easy bro, no dip for you! Here is where you need to post. If you have not figured out yet, this site is kind of backwards in that the last post is at the top of the page instead of the bottom. Anyway, follow this link to the April 11 quit group. Copy the previous list, add your name at the bottom and make a pledge not to dip today. Then all you have to do is keep your word for 24hrs.

You can do this man! I went through one can of copenskank a day for the past 3 years, and used a can of skoal a day for 10 years before that! I'm quit for 5 days now, and couldn't feel better! I'm not saying you wont have bad days, cause you will, but I'm saying I can tell this will be rewarding in the future! I love the thought of not being a slave to the can and having my life back! I also love the thought of using the $100 dollars a month I spent on chew for something else worth while! If you need anything just PM and I'll talk you out of dipping!

Hey man, congrats on taking the first big step and deciding to quit. The first week is going to really suck, if you were a heavy user. You can make it, though! We're all here with you, and we're all in the suck together. Nicotine is a heartless bitch, it's time to leave her for good!

You will get it brother, no worries. Congrats on your decision to embrace freedom. It is the best thing you can do for you. Yep, it's gonna suck. You know this going in. Use this site and the support and accountability you will find here and you can do this. Be proud of your quit, protect it, treat it as life and death, because that is exactly what it is. Proud to be quit with you!
