Today for the first time ever I took every can I had andthrew it in the trash. I'm done being a slave to something else. No more planning things around chew. No more wondering when I can put the next one in. No more worrying about cancer every day. No more hiding how much my addiction has started to control my life. No more. I am ready to reclaim my life.

Joined in July of 13? Well no better time then now. Go post roll December 2015

Welcome to the site, man! Er...rather...welcome to posting to the site! I like your introduction. You seem like you're disgusted with dip, and seeing how you joined in 2013, you've been thinking of taking control of your life back for a while.
One thing though, and this is actually a bigger deal than you might think - if that dip is anywhere in your house, even in the trash, you need to go flush that shit down the toilet. The reason this is a big deal is because we're addicts, and addicts are not above sifting through trash to dig cans out - no matter how many banana peels and used napkins you've piled on top of it. So unless the garbage man already hauled your trash away, you need to flush that shit.
Other than that, take DWEIRICK's advice, head to December 15, and post roll! Let's get this show on the road!

Thanks guys, and yea I joined a couple of years ago and kept putting it off. It was always an excuse as to why I couldn't quit and I kept setting dates but they would come and go and I'd find another excuse. I should probably also say that by trash I meant the huge dumpster that a couple of houses use so it is safely out of my reach. I am definitely not going to jump into that nasty ass dumpster with other peoples trash.

Alright, bro. I was just hoping it wasn't like...in your kitchen's trash can, you know? As long as there's no way you're getting to it. Also, well done on the roll post!
This site really is as simple as coming here, promising to stay quit for the day by posting roll, and repeating.
Make sure you're stocked up on stuff for the oral fixation like chewing gum or sunflower seeds or whatever else. Also, drinking water and exercising will help flush the poison from your body.

Nice job posting your day 1. Now just logon every morning and post your roll daily as early as possible. THis is your promise to your self and your brethren that you will not use nic in any form at all that day. Read the HOF speeches and Words of wisdom. Wake up the next day and do it all over again.
In the begining it is going to suck real bad. Drink plenty of water and when you have had enough water, drink some more. Exchange digits with people in your quit group. They may just be your lifeline one day and save your quit.
Stick with it and stay strong brother! Remember how bad this sucks right now so you never have to go through it again.
Take care and I quit with you today brother!!

Congratulations on the decision to quit.
Great job on posting roll. Let's keep that promise today.
Words of Wisdom and Hall of Fame speeches helped get me through the first week. There is valuable knowledge there. We have been there and will do anything to help.
Keep posting roll and I am proud to quit with you today.
