Hello, everyone. My name is JD but my friends call me Swan. I am a 28 year-old male from Montana and I have been chewing since I was 12 years old.. When I was offered a SKOAL mint long cut in 6th grade I accepted and have been hooked ever since. When you have chewed for longer than you haven't chewed in a lifetime, it starts to hit you that the habit is absolutely friggin' ridiculous, controlling, and a complete waste of time and money. So after 16 years, thousands of dollars, and some damage to my physical mental being, I am fed up an on my way to freedom. I am currently 9 days free (last dip I had was on 12/31/2017) and going strong. I am blown away at how proactive everyone is on this site. It is truly a positive community and it's evident that it is helping people so I am more than happy to be a part.
Thanks to everyone who has reached out and helped show me the ropes!

I do want to address one thing
When you have chewed for longer than you haven't chewed in a lifetime, it starts to hit you that the habit is absolutely friggin' ridiculous, controlling, and a complete waste of time and money
Everythig is spot on, but this isn't a habit... It's an addiction. The sooner you realizt that, the better!!
So...
