My name is Mark and I'm 30 years old and I've been chewing since I turned 18. I've wanted to quit for a long time, but never had the courage to try. Two things really helped me get to this point. First I talked to an aquaintence about how he quit when I was at at training session in Chicago for a week (he used hooch). That discussion got me thinking about it hard again. When I arrived home after not seeing my wife and 13 month old son for a week the second thing happened. I walked in with my bags and was excited to be home and see my family. The first thing my son did was grab a tin that he had found and carry it to me. That hit me really hard. He can barely walk and only knows a few words, but the most important thing to him was getting that tin to me. I'm done being his Dad that chews....I'm going to be his Dad. I know that I'm going to hit some rough spots along the way, I already have in the first four days, but I'm done with it.

Razz,
My son used to make spit noises like he was spitting into a bottle...I'd get the stare from my wife everytime it happened. Then after a while, he got used to it.
I'm with you...let's get used to being quit. One day at a time bro!
