Title: Quitting after 30 years
Post by: ACRA on April 01, 2019, 07:48:29 PM
Currently on day 6 of cold turkey quit. Find myself doing ok for the most part. Have urges throughout each day, but found mouthwash to be helpful fending it off

Welcome and dig in deep to all the info you can. But make sure you head over to the PreHof section under july quit group and post roll if you haven't done so already. Most importantly, exchange phone numbers with vets and people in your group, it's going to be the cornerstone to your quit. I can't stress that enough. Best of luck and around here we quit One Day At A Time ODAAT! Be sure to check your PMs for my digits. SDMF GIFD

ACRA,

Welcome aboard.  Here is a link to the JULY (https://forum.killthecan.org/index.php?topic=14117.600) quit group.  Go over there and post roll.  Posting roll is our promise to abstain from all nicotine for the day.  We post early everyday, come back the next day and repeat.

Bug Guy said it all except I just have to correct one thing.  There is no luck in quitting this addiction.  You either quit or you don't.  The choice is yours.  Make the right choice and join us.

PM me if you would like more digits.
