Hello Everyone,
After nearly 35 years of tobacco use, I made the decision to quit on June 24th. While the last few days have been extremely difficult, I remain highly motivated to finally stop this self inflicted, ongoing nightmare.
I have found the KTC site to be extremely helpful so far and really appreciate those who have reached out in support.

You got this Rocco.... I'm a 35 year user too. I'm quit for almost 1 month and can tell you that first few days is the hardest and it definitely gets easier quickly after. Go to the store and get some gum, mints, sunflower seeds and put them everywhere you will be, car, house, work, garage, etc... These substitutes have been a lifesaver for me. WE GOT THIS!!!

Rocco-you said it so well. It is TOTALLY self inflicted. We did this to ourselves. The good news is that it is reversible. It take a made up mind and determination. It also helps with all the support you’ll get here. If jump in head first, you won’t regret it. Make sure you keep posting roll first thing when you get up. Believe it or not, it works when you do it that way. My digits are available if you need help. Just PM me and they are yours. Fight hard brother.

Thanks for the advice. I'm wearing out the gum and mints.

Great decision Rocco. Keep making it every day.
It's worth it. If you ever lose faith in that fact, let me know and I'll give you a thousand reasons you can't (yet) recognize, but will become obvious later.

Great job, Rocco! I smoked for about the same amount of time. Hard to imagine your life without tobacco, isn't it? I am fast approaching 3 years quit and I can tell you I seldom think about it anymore. How beautiful does that sound? But I had to - we all had to - start where you are right now. It is a journey. You can do this, just take it one day at a time. Make that promise daily and keep it.
If you need digits, just pm me.
