Hello everyone. My name is Clint. I am new to this site. I like the community of KTC. I have not used nicotine today and will not tomorrow. Any advice for waking up for work without using dip in the morning? Any advice for day two quitters?

Hi Clint,
My advise is to go post your promise to not use nicotine for the day in the February 2020 Pre-HOF Quit Group (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=15988.400), then keep your word for the day, then come back the next morning and repeat the process. We quit one day at a time her by posting our promise to abstain from nicotine every day, at the beginning of our day.
Exchange phone numbers with other quitters from February and some vets. Those numbers give you instant access to support and start your wall of accountability and brotherhood.
Glad to have you here and proud to quit with you today,
Chris

Hi Clint!
Take it minute by minute, put something else in your mouth, drink water, do push-ups, find something to read that motivates your quit.
PM me your digits if you want and I’ll give you mine.
Proud to quit with you!

Just don't put nicotine in your body ever again. Sounds simple, right? But the only way out is through. That is, the only way you will not feel this shitty again, the only way to finally free yourself from the grip of this addiction, is to not put nicotine in your body ever again. Say to yourself (and mean it) that nicotine is off the table. You want a dip, no, do something different. I don't care if it means shoving 10 pounds of snickers bars down your gullet (my house was a Willy Wonka factory for months!!!), use seeds, use fake, just take nicotine off the table. In the beginning that feels impossible, I know. That is why we don't quit for forever here, we only quit one day at a time. Some days we just get through one hour at a time! But I promise you that this gets better and better with time and determination.
Post your name, post your day count, post your promise and keep your word. It's that simple.
You've got this.
