Title: My Intro
Post by: Justin9167 on November 10, 2019, 08:11:21 PM
Hi Everyone,

My name is Justin and I have been dipping for about 12 years. I’m thankful I ran across this site, as I’ve never had much success trying to quit on my own. I am ready to quit and look forward to the journey with you all.

Welcome man.  Start reading as much as you can on the site.  When your cravings get bad, read some more.  Rest, water, exercise seem to help most people.  You are amongst friends here.  Many have been through exactly what you are going through.
Your quit group is here: https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=15988.0
Post roll each day.
Pm me if you'd like my digits for added support.  Don't be shy to ask questions and share experiences.
Lots more to talk about but that will get you started.  Follow the lead of the vets on this site and you WILL be successful.
Proud to be quit with you today my friend

This is great advice. Read the site material, HOF speeches and the comma club posts. All of these things inspired me to stay quit through the bad craves the first few weeks

Hey Justin,

Welcome and congrats on getting off this garbage.  I'm 11 days free after dipping 2+ cans of copenhagen on and off for over 30 years.  I'd stopped a couple times along the way for periods of time, but every time I started back it only got worse.

Quitting isn't easy.  Take it day by day making a promise to yourself to remain off any nicotine for the day.

PM me any time.  I'm with your group in February and proud to get off this crap with you.

Thanks,

Josh
