Title: Day 1
Post by: JohnL on April 16, 2020, 08:32:27 PM
Day 1 started this morning and the day hasn’t been too bad. I am using those smokey mountain coffee pouches every now and then to distract myself and drinking a bunch of water.

Tonight has been a different story. I am feeling pretty irritable to the point that I need to avoid everyone.

Not sure what else to say, just venting I guess.

Hey friend congratulations on one of the best decisions you can make for the day. Pound that water down, especially during cravings. Glad to be quit with you and reach out and pm me if you want to talk. Take it all one day at a time bro and don't look back.

Hey JohnL, I'm quitting as well and I'm feeling irritable as well. I'm in the same boat with you but I think we can do this. -Craig

Hey John,

Great decision to quit brother.  The process here is simple but hard:

1. Wake Up
2. Piss
3. Post your promise to be nicotine free fro the next 24 hours
4. Keep your word
5. Repeat Daily

Simple, but hard to do everyday.  But if you really want to be quit, then you will make it a priority and be here every damn posting your promise.

Go to the July 2020 Pre-HOF Group (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16409.1035) and learn how to post roll.  That group will become your quit family.  Get to know them, exchange phone numbers with them through private message.  Those numbers will become your instant lifeline if need support along the way.  They are also the beginning of your web of accountability and brotherhood.  If you wold like mine, feel free to hit me up.

Congrats on the best decision of your life.

Proud to quit with you,

Chris
