Welcome, you've made a great decision.

Just so you know, luck has nothing to do with remaining quit. Remaining quit is an active decision we make every day.

Go to the August quit group, and learn to post roll: https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16445.0

By posting roll, are making a solemn promise to yourself, other members of your quit group, and everyone posting support that you will not use nicotine in any form for the rest of the day. Make your promise, honor your promise. Quitting is that simple - hard as hell, but simple.

Exchange digits with members of your group, and some vets too. That adds a level of accountability. Mine are a PM away.

I don't have much to say about the anxiety, other than to keep yourself active. Read all you can here on the forums. If exercise is your thing, do that.

Whatever you do, don't go back to the gas station. Use pay at the pump for a while when you do need gas.

Proud to quit with you.

@Fatu89 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17499)  @RDB (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=465) spelled it out perfectly. When I first quit, I got my son or wife to go to the gas station with me just for the extra protection. When that wasn’t possible, I would call a fellow quitter before getting to the station. We all need help and different points of our quits. Shoot me a message with your digits as I am happy to partner up in out battle against nicotine. You can do this.

@Fatu89 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17499)  these badass quitters have laid out the path to success for you above. Make your promise early, keep your word, do it again the next day. It's as easy as that, and as hard as that. It really depends on how badly you want to BE quit. Don't try to quit, just QUIT. It can be done. Reach out to these guys, myself, or anyone else for digits. That extra level of accountability can make the difference. I can promise you this: if you send me your digits, you're not allowed to cave until you get my permission.  Being quit means quitting through life, no matter what it brings. Check out my intro and see what I have quit through. Not the worst by far, as I am still here, but I have quit through the worst that life could throw my way in the last almost three years. And KTC IS the reason I can say that.

@Fatu89 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=17499) go to the August 2020 (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16445.0) group and post roll. Start to connect with your fellow quitters in your month as well as supporters.

You have 3 posts but no roll posts yet. This is Nate33's introduction. He will be in Aug 2020 with you. Share your digits with him via the PM tool up top. Let's get you on the right track and involved in Aug 2020.
