Hello, this is my first time posting here. I've used just about all forms of nicotine over my lifetime, most recently including dip, pipe tobacco, snuff, and cigars. I haven't used any form of nicotine since last Wednesday, but dip is the real culprit in my life. I'm just damn tired of there always being several rancid spitters either in my room or in my car, dipping in front of my girlfriend knowing that she doesn't like it, and feeling like I NEED something that I certainly don't need. More often than not these days I don't even enjoy the flavor or sensation and get nothing from it besides a quick nicotine fix. A friend of mine, a recovering addict, likes to say that in difficult moments all you "need" is to breath. Feels good to have gone this far, just hope the motivation sticks! I plan on hanging around and posting more. Thank you all!

Welcome Raindog,
Jump right in and start posting your promise in your quit group, October 2020 PreHOF Quit Group (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16602.1860).
The process is simple:
1. Wake Up
2. Piss
3. Post your promise to be nicotine free for the next 24 hours
4. Keep your word
5. Repeat Daily.
This is the cost of admission to this forum.
Your decision to quit is the best one you will ever make.
Start to get to know your fellow quitters in October. Exchange phone numbers with them and some vets through private message. The phone numbers is how we keep each other accountable and also gives you instant access to support when you need it.
Glad to have you aboard,
Chris
