Title: Day 1 after 25 years
Post by: fornesto on October 21, 2020, 10:24:07 PM: Well, here goes. This is my first day of a real quit after 25 years of 1/3-1/2 copenhagen/day addiction. I just wrapped up a three phase nicotine patch program that my health care provider (Kaiser) steered me towards. Well. I finished the last patch and I am still addicted to nicotine - go figure. I am looking to this group to guide me through the next forever - life without nicotine of any sort. I've got no supply and the patches are done. Here goes.

Welcome @fornesto (https://ktcforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=14749) to the best site for quitters. Lets start off and get your mindset correct and you need to WANT to quit. Its time to buckle up and power thru. Head over here https://ktcforum.org/index.php?topic=16725.0 to the forums and post up. Read the instructions and as much as you can on the site. If you screw up your post don’t worry somebody will fix and let you know. Its time to just embrace the suck and move on from the nicotine and the life it brings. Get involved with your group, share digits as that really does help and just be part of the site. If you want to share digits do it thru pms or my messages tab never in the forum. We are here to help you quit but you need to play by the sites rules. You want my digits for help just pm me and they are yours. Welcome aboard my friend, stay strong, stay QUIT and God bless.
